Stayed here one night late April. It was very quiet and for a while we were the only camper there and could pick our own secluded spot in the very private little powered parking bays amongst the trees. We chose a site which had lovely views of a snow tipped Mt Cook and were visited by some 'friendly' fowl like... More

I stayed for 2 nights at the park. I like the friendly and very helpful staff. They specially arranged for me horsetrekking which is supposed to be closed for the season. Thank you so much..the staff, Jenny and Jordy...it was cold and freezing and raining. They still went on with the plan. Else I won't be doing anything at all... More

We stayed two nights in a self contained cabin, which is really more a motel type unit as it is attached to others. The rooms are spacious and kitchen well equipped. Generous supply of towels and good shower. Its a basic no fuss room but clean and more than adequate. The parks common room had a nice fire and tv... More

This is just about the only campsite near to Mount Cook village. We were invited to park up wherever we liked in what was a large grassed area with trees/bushes/scrubland, with water and power posts every so often. Lots of space and the feeling of being away from everywhere. The kitchen/eating block is worth being in at sunset because you... More

We stayed here for 3 nights over Easter and could not fault the location with lovely views towards Mount Cook. The unit was clean and comfortable and sufficient for our needs although the walls are thin and we got woken by the guests next door, even though they were not noisy. However despite it being Easter weekend the cafe was... More

Thank you for taking the time to review your experience at Glentanner, over Easter. It is great to hear you loved our views, and that you were more than satisfied with your unit. I am sorry the Café was not open in the evening. Yes, it is only open for evening meals in the summer – this is due to... More

We were in a camper van. Very spacious & nice outdoor feeling. Great view especially the night sky. The staff were very welcoming. We took a heli ride up to the mountains. Fantastic experience.

Thank you very much for your excellent review. Great to hear you are back in May! The sofa is actually a pull out bed - I am sorry this was not explained to you. When you return you will see there is lots of space for 2 children on the double fold out sofa! Kind Regards, Kate Ivey and the... More

Stayed in a cabin for a couple of nights to go up and see Mt Cook - very good experience. The cabins are spacious with 1 double and 1 twin bed, very nice bathroom (good shower) and kitchen. All very clean. Only downside is that you hear every snore (literally...) of your neighbors. Views up the valley are excellent and... More

Friendly staff, open campervan spaces and easy to book online. Such a lovely view from here I was sad we came in at night time and left in the morning. Would have loved to get some nice pictures.
