I stayed in a single room which was a lot bigger than expected. The hotel is either very new or recently redecorated; it is stylish and gorgeous. The beds were fantastic, and the price was not bad at all.

As independent travellers we found this hotel are only interested in their conference guests. Not one staff member, including the breakfast waitress bothered to greet us in the morning. Breakfast buffet was very ordinary. Think there may be better hotels in the city that treat guests with some respect.

Checkin was fast and friendly. Asked for a quiet room which I also got. Room was fairly spacious and in very good condition as hotel is fairly new. Choose this hotel if you're staying in Fredrikstad. It's posh, nicely designed, sits perfectly located downtown, has a nice atmosphere and it does all this at an affordable price. It's simply the best hotel in Fredrikstad. The only drawback is its relatively small rooms, but that's something it shares with most other conference hotels.
