We were there for 3 nights as part of an InnTravel hiking vacation. They really cater well to hikers & skiers, including providing detailed hike descriptions for independent hikes & daily guided hikes. I just spent six days here and was thoroughly impressed with the genuine friendliness and impeccable service. I have worked in five star hotels in the U.S. and in Europe over the years, and the Sporthotel Matschner is right up there with them.
