The friendly owners made our stay a very welcome one - a home from home. My young children (2 and 4) were relaxed, happy, safe, soaking up the farm atmosphere - feeding the rabbit, ducks and carp, collecting the chickens' eggs and stroking the farm cats. They played on the play equipment whilst we supervised from afar with a cup... More

Since 2001 a group of eight members of the British Woodcarvers Association have been hiring all four cottages twice a year. We spend our time working on carving projects in the excellent games room, where every facility meets our needs. This really is the ideal location for group activities such as ours. When wishing to take time out, we visit... More

We stayed in Bell cottage last weekend with our baby and 4 year old daughter and more family stayed in the cottage next door. We had a fantastic time. The cottages were immaculate, and lots of thought had gone into what had been provided. They back onto an enclosed garden with playthings so between those, feeding the lambs twice a... More

We had an excellent new year stay at the cottages. We booked all 4 cottages, and they are all off a very high standard. Games room was a bonus with pool table, table tennis table, kitchen and toilet. Children loved collecting the fresh eggs fron the chickens in the morning. Lovely holiday break, will definitly return.

The cottages are very welcoming as are David and Claire. There is a games room the size of a Village Hall and plenty of visits can be made to local attractions. It is a good area for walking and a local pub.We hope to return in... More

We booked a 3 night stay in September 2011 staying in Bell cottage and my sister, husband and son stayed in Swan cottage. The cottages are clean, comfortable and well equipped. The setting is beautiful, situated in a small village surrounded by fields. The cottages have a duck pond, play area for children along with hens, cows, a rabbit, cats... More
