Immaculate, clean and friendly, in a convenient spot, great views. Just what you want from a B & B, and Mandy & Adrian made me feel very welcome. I would certainly go there again.

We come to Rhayader at least once or twice a year and use it as a base for motorcycle touring. Brynteg has private and secure bike parking around the back and the host is a biker himself. If you've never ridden the Elan Valley (basically turn left and keep going) you are missing one of the most scenic, breathtaking rides... More

We had a great stay at Brynteg. We received a lovely welcome, the rooms were of a very high standard, very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was superb, one of the best cooked breakfasts I have eaten. Mandy and Adrian were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Have just returned from another visit to Brynteg. As always the welcome, accommodation and service were excellent. The home-made jams, and eggs from their own chickens, make the Welsh breakfasts a real treat. The rooms are spotlessly clean and pleasantly furnished with very comfortable beds. Mandy and Adrian make sure guests every needs are met and can help with local... More

Brynteg is an ideal B&B for anyone visiting this area of mid-Wales. Mandy & Adrian are excellent hosts and made my mother & I most welcome during our recent visit. The rooms are of a very high standard and the breakfast menu was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble and I would highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone and everyone.... More

A perfect little getaway; homely, friendly and with a lovely appreciation of the district. A 'good life' oasis with home-grown and produced fayre. Welcoming rooms and peaceful surroundings combine to make this a prime choice if you're looking for a base to enjoy the beautiful area, added to thoughtful touches like toys for children etc.

Stayed 2 nights whilst walking in the area. Had a rear facing room with views over the surrounding countryside. Room was scrupulously clean and immaculately decorated and the bed was very comfortable. There was a guest lounge with TV, although no TV in the room. WiFi was available. The breakfast was excellent and made with local ingredients, including the owners... More

Just returned from my second visit here. Adrian and Mandy gave their usual warm welcome. The room was superb and excellent value for money. I have special dietary needs and my hosts went out of their way to accomodate those. The guest house is in a lovely position overlooking a ridge. Overall very highly recommended.
