Recently stayed here with our dog for a week and had a great time. We stayed in lodge 15 which was suitable for dog owners. It's was nicely presented and well equipped. A large LCD tv, with DVD player, full central heating, hot tub, free wi fi in the lodge (good enough to stream sky go), and parking next to... More

Hello! Thank you for your detailed review :) It is appreciated that you noticed that we do try to provide a little bit extra for our guests, such as a great nights sleep on memory foam mattresses! The bridal way that you walked down to the village on does actually go in the other direction from the site as well,... More

Absolutely loved this place! We stayed 18-21st April after I booked it as a surprise for my partners 30th birthday! I couldn't fault it. The owners did a great job putting up balloons and banners for our arrival! We stayed in the Wild Oats plus 20 lodge and it was perfect location! We had no noise and total privacy in... More

This is a little gem of a place but I'll start with a few bad points. There is a problem with hot water pressure with I couldn't really find the cause. On arrival, there was only cold water from the hot tap, but I checked the Emerson Tank and it wasn't switched on. Once on, there was plenty of hot... More

This is the first time me and my girlfriend have booked this sort of thing but we will definitely be back. The lodge was clean, modern and spacious and we basically lived in the hot tub. Love the way the staff just leave you to it but are on hand if you need them. York is easy to get to... More

Having stayed in other similar lodge style cabins, I was particularly impressed by how nice this one was considering it was significantly cheaper. We went as a family however this would be just as ideal for couples. Our lodge had all the homely touches including a private hot tub and backed straight on to the lake. Within easily travelling distance... More

We stayed in cabin 15 for 4 nights in April and we were pleasantly surprised on how nice the cabin and the park itself were. We are a couple in our mid/late 20’s with a small dog. Hi :) Thank you for your detailed review, and it's great to hear that you liked your lodge and the park itself. The reason we have the hot tub's around the back of the lodges is to give privacy to the guests using them, we have found that (most) people don't like to be able to be seen whilst using... More

We arrived and drove in. loved how our name was on the glass window with the lodge number. Drovestraight up to the lodge and parked right outside. Keys in the back of the door for convenience. The lodge was lit warm and cosy all ready to go. It was clean and the bedding was spotless. The bed was so comfy.... More

Hello :) Thank you for your 5* review and for your repeat custom, it really is appreciated! :D We do find people like the fact that they can just turn up to their lodge without waiting around for keys, but people do have someone to come in to talk to in the office should they wish to. We stayed at Yellow top for 3 nights in the Harvest Plus lodge. The Lodge was very clean and very comfortable,(Home from home). We really enjoyed the view from the veranda and the frequent visits from the variety of birds,(take lots of bread for the ducks, they want breakfast, dinner and tea.) Great base to travel and visit York, Whitby... More
