Family stayed at the two bedroom apartment as did mark99 but our experience was not very satisfying. We left our feedback with booking .com but this has not been printed so leaving our views here. We arrived and were welcomed in politely with various rules outlined, the one that surprised us the most was no food consumption of any sort... More

My wife and I stayed at La Prieure last July to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. I cannot imagine a better spot. As you can see from the pictures, the rooms are in a beautiful 15th century stone manor house. Each room is different and is filled with beautiful antiques. We had a spacious two bedroom suite up the central... More

My wife and I stayed in La Prieure de le Chaise for a week in late June. If it was in England it would be described as a 'small medieval manor'. Since it's in the Loire, however, the most apt description is perhaps a 'mini-chateaux'. The Prieure is located a mile or so south of the centre of the village... More

A very quaint and well maintained property. Not the easiest to find but well worth the effort. Danielle was most helpful and sent us to a wonderful restaurant, AAgnes Sorel

On the outskirts of the village, a beautiful 15th century stone building with the grandeur of a small chateau and the warm welcome of a family home. The furnishings and design are pleasing in every detail. The accommodation was gorgeous: up a spiral stone staircase and via heavy oak doors; aesthetically charming, very spacious, very comfortable, quiet, with great views... More

My husband and I recently spent 4 nights at Le Prieure de la Chaise. We had a lovely time and found the old priory and its outbuildings so beautiful. The property is immaculate and beautifully maintained, and can best be described as a mini-chateau. Behind the property are open vinyards (owned by the Prieure de la Chaise) and lots of... More

We absolutely loved our stay at Le Prieure. It's a beautiful old building, tastefully furnished in a calm & relaxed style, with beautiful antique furniture and artefacts, particularly in the dining/sitting room. We very much enjoyed exploring the open outbuildings around the courtyard, which hid all manner of interesting suprises, many connected to winemaking, There is a marquee attached to... More

With exposed beams, entry to our room by a circular stone staircase through a tower and a collection of ancient furniture this is a truly unique place to stay and well located for access to the sights in the area. You will need a car to get around and to feed yourself. Your hostess is only to willing to assist... More

We booked to stay for one night B&B. We were in a small room that isn't mentioned on the website but I had been told when I asked about availability that there was only a small room available and it was cheaper than the other rooms so this wasn't a problem. The house is lovely on the outside but inside... More
