We stayed here for two nights before Xmas with our 20 year old daughter and boyfriend and had the two upstairs rooms. The rooms are in a separate annex with its own entry. Clean, comfortable beds with good bathroom. Lovely gardens and a warm welcome. We had the table d'hôte meal on the first night as we had arrived late... More

We spent Christmas in St George with family and after hunting high and low for accommodation and finding most residences closed for the winter, were relieved to find the B&B open for business. Amazingly, it was a stunning place and is run by a lovely lady who is very obliging. The residence is small, charming and pleasant. We stayed in... More

Everything was easy to arrange even at short notice, and worked as expected. The furnishings and decorations in the bungalows were clean, beautiful, and of good quality. We were able to get a ground floor room for the less mobile member of our party. I highly recommend paying the very low price for dinner, as the local wine, the food,... More

This is a beautiful place to stay, tastefully appointed in very french chic furniture and collectables, but not cluttered. The rooms are light and spacious and are extremely clean. The host Beatrice has thought of everything right down to the linen and towels which are gorgeous. I loved staying here. Beatrice offered to cook us dinner on prearrangement and we... More

On arriving at le clos we were greeted by Beatrice who showed us to our two lovely rooms in the old restored barn. The gardens are beautifully kept and Beatrice's love of fine art and antiques shines through in everything, right down to the little touches. Breakfasts were hearty and the local breads and homemade jams a highlight. Rooms are... More

We arrived at "Le Clos" after a long drive and immediately felt relaxed when we saw our room and and had a drink on the patio outside. Beatrice pays amazing attention to detail and I loved the vintage bed linen and china. It was nice to have a kettle and beautiful china cups provided in the room. Beatrice cooked us... More

The former barn hosts the guest rooms which are clean and with a nice vintage design. The problems occurred when we wanted to use the basic elements as electricity or hot water. In the first night was cold but the heater couldn't be turned on until the host has raised the fuse from the central electric panel. A second night... More

"We are sorry you had an unpleasant stay with us. We have never had a problem with hot water before with our guests and are sorry that you experienced an evening without a hot shower. Each room has 150 L of hot water(65 degres) per day, more than double French hotel standards. You emptied it in the day (more than... More

This is a lovely B&B, located just across the Cher River from Chenonceaux. The five rooms are in a recently rebuilt outbuilding. Large, nicely decorated room. The rooms and entry way for the upstairs rooms have antique accessories. Breakfast is served in a large dining room in the main house. Beatrice was an excellent, pleasant host.

The word that best describe this place is Hospitality! We stayed 3 nights at Beatrice B&B and we enjoyed every moment. The beautiful rooms in the garden have character. They were very clean, quiet and completely private. When we made our reservation we mentioned that someone in our party is diabetic. On our arrival we discovered that beside the rooms... More
