We were so looking forward to staying here - great reviews, great pictures - but now we realise that none of the reviews are from people who stayed in the self contained gite. Quite simply, the gite is a dump! The kitchen is dreadful - the concrete sink is pitted and full of goodness knows what, the borer ridden boards... More

This was a place to stay with real character and offered us just what we had hoped for. Mr. Bradier was a terrific host coping with our rudimentary French and acting as a well-spring of useful information about the area. His home made jam was a joy in the mornings and his passion for the local birdlife was really helpful... More

We stayed at the Domaine des Lacs for two nights. The room "Tante Marie Louise" was very nice. We enjoyed the breakfast together with the other guests at one long table with home made jam, yoghurt etc. Francois informed us very well about the places you can visit around Lesmont.
