This was one of the most singular travel experiences I've ever had. From the over the top tents, complete with ensuite bathroom, to the campfire, to the delicious dinners, cocktails and nibbles, to the adventurous day tours, I just can't wait to go back. In november 2009 we have been guests at Kangaluna Camp in the Gawler Ranges for 4 days. These for 4 days were the best of our trip to South Australia (even though the rest was suberb as well)!! Two years ago we made a wonderfull 'safari' in South Australia. If you want to be spoilt with everything this is the place to be. We stayed here for only one night, but I would definitely recommend staying for at least 2-4. Geoff and his wife were the perfect hosts. We walked on salt lakes, trekked through a gorge, drove through kilometres of red dirt bush teaming with kangaroos, emus, birds, and lizards, ate delicious meals, celebrated the end of the day with sunset drinks...
