HUGE room, very comfortable to return to after drinking all that wonderful wine!!!! Hearty breakfast for sure. Good location about 10 mins to everything you would want to see (wine cellars, museum, church, riverfront, restaurants). Really nice husband-wife time running the show. “Comfortable, well-located pension”

Family-friendly pension in Tokaj village, well-located for visiting the museums, tasting rooms and restaurants. Simply but well furnished with a sitting area in the bedrooms, satellite TV and clean bathroom. Breakfast was E6 extra -- a bit steep. Staff did not speak English, but were friendly. No wireless, but they offered to let me use the office dial-up internet.

The Torkolat is a still under renovation, and the owners do not seem to speak English, but I had a guide who spoke Ukrainian and my cousin spoke a bit of Hungarian, so it was OK for us.
