This is a wonderful place for a family holiday. Enjoy the beach, the lighthouse and the rock pools.

Our family have stayed at the camp ground twice, summer holidays over the last two years. Stayed with other familes. Great facilities for the kids, everything was clean and tidy. Had to pay for showers, but we were not staying in town, it is the countryside. Great spot on the beach.

This camp Ground (1 of 11 stayed in over 4 weeks) was the most expensive we have stayed in $45.00 per couple regardless of Power or not and on top of that pay for Showers and Cooking. This camping ground in THE MOST EXPENSIVE we have ever stayed in and on top of that you have to pay for basic facilities like cooking in the kitchen and showers. The kitchen has absolutely no utensils, just hot water, oven, hot plates, fridge and microwave. The facilities were very clean and the owner pleasant but our stay was disappointing.... More

Perfect location, but way too expensive. You even have to pay 1$ for 30 minutes of oven... Facilities are good, but there aren't enough during high season.

We camped here for 2 days in early October after a recommendation from an acquaintance. We were touring the North Island for the World Cup. Great spot to explore,fish,surf,relax... Camping after labour weekend no dogs allowed in camp ground but designated area for us to tent, Large grass area at front of camp with main rd beyond the trees great if you were camping mid summer. AFTER paying the fee, I learnt that my bus wasnt "wired" to be hooked up at a Motor Camp but the owners never offered to reimburse the difference for having a "non powered site"... More
