“Exceptional Hospitality!”

Thanks so much Carolyn for your wonderful hospitality. We were thoroughly spoiled from the time we arrived! Wine, cheese, port & chocolate .. yum :) The breakfast was fantastic. Loved the omelet and the fresh fruit was divine. Value for money & then some.

“The place to stay!”

We stayed in this B&B for two nights and I would definitely stay there again!The hosts are friendly,we received delicious welcome basket with snacks and wine on the arrival and amazing cooked breakfast each morning,with the best pancakes ever!! “Tiritiri Matangi”

Stayed at this lovely B&B only overnight on our trip from Auckland airport to the kauri woods. But as we found out later Manly on Whangaparaoa Peninsula is an even better alternative to Auckland for visiting Tiritiri Matangi Island, as the boat from Auckland stops at Whangaparaoa Peninsula- and from here it´s only another 4 km to Tiritiri Matangi.For people... Thank you Josef for you kind review and for pointing out how close we are to Tiritiri Matangi Island. We also have the beautiful Shakespear National Park on our peninsula approx 12 mins from Bayview which is also a bird sanctuary with lovely bush and field walks and beaches. More

“Exactly what we needed!”

Great location, walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Great hosts, very welcoming and attentive. The room was comfortable with everything that we needed and a nice view of the garden. Breakfast was fantastic, plenty to choose from and cooked to perfection. Would definately recommend this B&B to others. Wish we could have stayed longer!
