Stayed here while walking the West Highland Way, after a 19 mile walk it was clean and warm and the food was OK, plenty of whiskies to choose from. Rooms are tired but the views from our room were stunning. Has a drying room and a decent breakfast and you ore straight on the path when you leave

A historic building set in an isolated location near the head of Glencoe amid stunning scenery. Huge picture window in comfortable lounge with a view of the mountains. Lovely dining room. Bar food was OKish, very reasonable price. Nice dining room. Good drying room. Our characterful room was quite small, being an old building, with about 2ft 6in to the... More

The hotel location is beautiful and right on the West Highland Way. Six of us walking the route together had small double rooms on the ground floor with shared facilities. The slightly cramped conditions were made up for by the deer that wandered around outside our windows and obligingly posed for photos. Although the hotel decor is rather scruffy, there... More

Seemingly in the middle of nowhere, but not far from a main road, this hotel was a sixth night stop on the West Highland Way, and it was a pleasure. A hotel organised to cater to its clientele, more than adequate accommodation, routines for breakfast and other meals, facilities for walkers and climbers, local knowledge, and good fellowship in its... i stayed here while walking the west highland way. the walkers bar is cosy and has a great atmosphere. there is also a larger, cocktail bar ideal for meals. the lounge is large and has a cosy fire, big picture windows with fabulous views of the mountains. my bedroom was clean and comfortable, the food was, without doubt, the best... Truly a welcome sight at the end of a long and wet walk over Rannoch Moor from Tyndrum. A great informative reception at the bar with lots of information. Fantastic large family room which was unexpected and next door to a great drying room. Bath in room was great however the hot water had a brown tinge. Food and service... More

This was our fourth stop on the West Highland Way and followed a long and very wet walk across the Rannoch Moor. The welcome was very good and as we were soaking and cold, the receptionist suggested that we fill in the forms and hand them in later once we had showered and heated up. It was so relaxed. The... I stayed here for one night while doing the West Highland Way, after a 20 mile walk in the wind and rain I was really looking forward to getting to the Kings House Hotel. To say I was disappointed is and understatement! The outside of the hotel looks warm and inviting and as it is the only hotel in this... More

My friend and I stayed here as part of our West Highland Way walk. After a 20 mile walk we were looking forward to getting to a comfortable clean room. Unfortunately we opened the door to our room to the smell of dampness and a tired old room tiny room, which could have definitely done with a lick of paint... More
