“Clean Hotel, nice rooms, bad customer and service dislike of foreigners”

We paid 75E for the first night, the hotel is in a good location and the room was very clean and fresh. We loved sperlonga and the weather was beautiful so we decided to stay another night, we asked at reception and the manager? tried to rip us off by giving an elevated price of around 90E for the night.... This is a modern block on a side street just back from the seafront, at the foot of the cliff on which the old town stands. The room was comfortable, big enough for us, with an up to date bathroom. This is a very unpretentious little hotel, well situated very close to the seafront. The rooms are spotless if a little on the small side but all rooms we stayed in (we were a group of 9) had spacious balconies and the bathrooms were very well appointed with excellent showers etc. The management and staff were absolutely delightful - nothing...
