The rundown facade of the building hides a small gem. Great hospitality, clean and well equipped rooms, nice continental breakfast, fair price. Small hotel, great value for money!

Nice breakfast room and decent breakfast, including homemade cakes, included in the price. Looks like a nice restaurant is on the premises, but we were too frustrated with the issues around our arrival and our room so we didn't try it out. Helpful and friendly gentleman at the front desk but ...

With a very early flight out of Rome, we decided to stay ay Al Porticciolo in Fiumicino. The hotel was very clean, spacious room and modern updated bathroom. Quite comfortable and a great value. Family owned and run! Warm and helpful. Take a taxi to and from airport. Bus shuttle impossible to figure out. Taxi should be around 20 euros...

First of all don’t be put off by the look of the building or where it sits. Neither are very pretty but if that does not bother you this place is great.
Rooms are a little small but very clean and the bathroom was lovely.
Breakfast was great with homemade cakes etc.

The gentleman at the desk was quite efficient and represented the charm of olde world Italy. He was helpful, pleasant and accommodating, and contrary to that which another reviewer indicated, he was nimble
We stayed here for one night in March before returning to the States from Fiumicino airport. There are only 6 or seven rooms on one floor. We had #20, which was sparkling clean with a fridge, wifi, window facing the back of the hotel and therefore quiet. Parking is right outside the hotel and the hotel is relatively easy to...

We stayed here one night after arriving at the airport and we had to leave the next day to catch a train. The hotel is close about 10 minutes from the airport, it is VERY clean and the senior gentleman at the front desk was helpful, he even insisted on carrying our heavy bag up the stairs. The room had...

We chose this hotel because of other reviews when laying over in Rome for an evening before an early flight. Approaching we wondered if we made a mistake, since the outside was quite humble. From the greeting through to departure we were charmed and comfortable. The bath was terrific. best of all was the superb seafood meal we enjoyed in...

We landed in Fiumicino and stayed over night before catching our cruise. Beware, as one traveller mentioned, go outside the airport and get a quote for the cab ride to this hotel. We were overcharged by 15 euros by the fellow inside the airport terminal.
Yes, there is an elderly gentleman at the desk. Not the most nimble of fellows...

We found this small hotel(6 rooms) on Tripadvisor. It was nice to stay in this small port town before our flight back to the US. The rooms are very tiny but clean and modern with a good bathroom. English is not as readily spoken here as in Rome but every effort was made on both sides to understand. The breakfast...
