I booked this room directly with the hotel (after an dreadful experience trying to book with Agoda.com) by emailing them. They responded immediately, and gave me a rate much lower than Agoda - $11 for the night! I was expecting a typical Thai budget hotel after reading the other reviews, but this far exceeded my expectations. Check-in was very fast,... More

Compared to its price, Sri Isan is worth to stay. This hotel is always my family's choice when travel to Ubon. It's not as excellent as a common 3-star hotel. But compared to the price this is very attractive to stay. After my first try some years ago, it became my favorite choice. Price I paid only THB 500 for... More

We spent 3 nights in the Sri Isan in November. We booked a Junior Suite, which was very spacious, and excellent value for money. The airport transfer was very efficient and all the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The hotel was located not far from the river, and a short walk from the Night Market and the museum, which... More

I was staying next door,Sri Isan2,very basic, but only 200 baht. The main hotel seems to cater to the more elite class of Thais.Dressed well, suit pants and clean, tipping does not seem to help. The food is very good,if your willing to go up to the desk repeatedly like a beggar and your o.k with being treated like a chump.

I stayed a night on the way to Bangkok from Laos. The room was clean and comfortable, but narrow bathroom was hard to use. The location of Hotel is good! I went to open-air stalls to take dinner by 10 minutes walk in evening. There were many fantastic Thai food and fresh fruits. I ate a coconut taste soup noodle,Thai... More

I stayed for 2 nights in early December 2011 and expected to be impressed, given the reviews here. I had spent the last 10 days travelling through Isaan, staying in similar priced hotels, all of which far surpassed the Sri Isarn in terms of value for money and general maintenance. I'm sure it was once a great hotel but time... More

We got a small but nice and clean room with two beds and breakfast (not so great) for just over 500 bath per night. Very friendly staff. Location great with some nice bars/restaurants just a few minutes away down by the river. Very good value for money.

My friend and I splurged on the President Suite for four nights at the Sri Isan. Just over $100 for the four nights, including breakfast and we could not have been happier! The location is good, close to the morning market and the Mun River. The room had two large, comfortable beds; two very clean bathrooms with lovely hot water... More

The price for a basic room with queen size bed seemed to have dropped to 500 THB when we recently stayed here for two days. My girlfriend and I had to go by nice decorated stairs to our small room at the third floor, as there was no elevator. No big deal. At our floor not many rooms were rented,... More

Overall we enjoyed our stay, beds comfortable, room clean, staff attentive and helpful. Value for money! One complaint, coffee is awful but if you enjoy rice soup for breakfast it's easy to skip the coffee! The western breakfast choice is limited and very basic.
