location is central with easy access to ski-lifts - rooms are basic and clean - welcome could be warmer -although they claim to cater for vegetarians this is stretching it to say the least. Not really good value for money
This is a very well appointed hotel in a unique position. It lies in the centre of a small mountain village, accessible only by cable car.
The traffic in the village is comprised of electric or farm vehicles and pedestrians: a very peaceful location.

We stayed at the Walliser Spycher from 9/14 to 9/16. Our room was booked for us by Alpinehikers as part of our self guided tour. We were in the expansive and very beautiful Stuba suite. (See the attached pictures) The suite and the bathroom were both always clean.
