Very scenic location. On the edge of the dunes and miles and miles of golden sand. We were one of the very few English tourist and were taken often for Spanish! We stayed foe one week early September there was a bit of a heatwave so glorious weather. The location of the hotel is well outside the main town. We... More

Blue azure sea, golden sands what more do you want for the price. We thought the food was above average All Inclusive for the money. We liked our room on the 6th floor with lovely view. It was all mainly Spanish guests, but was expected after reading reviews and where it is. There was an excotit nature walk to the... More

My partner and I are great fans of Spain having lived there previously so the Campomar being a Spanish hotel full of Spanish pensioners in late winter early spring was going to be a challenge but nothing that we couldn't bear. The hotel is now light blue. They were painting it when we were there and it stands like a... More

Stayed here for 2 nights, half board, silver. Had I booked for longer I would have been extremely disappointed. The bedrooms have recently been renovated and therefore clean and adequate. Pleasant staff. The food is mediocre, nothing to write home about. Saturday evening dinner was pizza, burger (without buns) and undercooked ribs. Not my idea of an evening meal. There... More

After writing an excellent review following our first stay in the Campomar, we returned a few weeks later and were quite disappointed. The Hotel was, for most of the week, very quiet. The only other guests were Spanish pensioners on subsidised holidays. No problem at all there, except for the food. The hotel seemed to be working to a totally... More

We stayed for 14 nights on an all-inclusive basis and were extremely satisfied with the hotel, which offered excellent value for money. The hotel is isolated, set on a glorious beach but is a 25 minute walk along the beach to the bars and restaurants of Guardamar. There is an hourly bus (85 cents) which picks up outside the hotel.... This is the 5th time we have been to this hotel in the last 12 months and were happy once again. They are in the process of renovating the hotel (although we were not disturbed once by this during our stay) and we got a newer room this time. Yes the food is predominantly Spanish, and yes, there are lots... More

We have travelled the world, and never have we stayed anywhere so awful. We were to stay for a fortnights holiday in the area, touring etc but after one night we had to leave. Myself and my husband can honestly say we have never stayed in such an awful and depressing place. My husband has an illness that means he... More

We have just returned from 5 nights all inclusive over half term. We were not expecting much having read some really bad reviews, and because it was such a bargain (£600 for Two adults, 2 teenagers and a 10 year old). We were pleasently surprised. The food was lovely if you enjoy Spanish food, and if you are not adventurous... More
