the solymar apartments themselves were clean and were what we expected. however as you book in at hotel florida there is no security at the door. we felt this unnerving as we went as a group of girls on a hen weekend. on the second night of our stay it went mental as in all hell broke loose. crazy guests... Solymar is a great accomodation to stay at in San Antonio. For the price you get a lot more. The studios were very clean and spacous esp for 3 people, with large balconys and the rooms do get cleaned every day. The rooms do have a fridge - which is very useful!! Me and my friend have just come back from 11 days at the Solymar apartments where we had a wonderful time. The apartments were large and spacious with big balconies overlooking San Antonio Marina as well as the Beach and Promenade. The rooms are cleaned and swept out on a daily basis and fresh towels are given. The only downside... More
