Quite location at the back of the resort but within an easy walk of beach and large supermarket. Rooms basis but clean, although electrics are very temperamental and electrics trip on a regular basis. Bathroom very large but in need of some tender loving care. The holiday rep was fantastic.

Last week we returned from a last-minute cheap week away in the Algarve, staying at the Plaza Real apartments. We hired a car from Faro airport, and stopped on our way to shop for essentials at the local, massive, Continente supermarket (open 'till 11pm on a Sunday!), so that we could unpack and settle in immediately, without having to unpack... Just had a 5 day break at these appartments.The rooms are very large and well appointed. Good cleanliness, friendly staff, immaculate pool area. Large shopping centre & McDonalds10 minutes away. The only drawbacks is that it is quite a long walk to the Beach and seafront. Would definately recommend it.

Shower broken & not fixed when reported. Cooker hob not earthed properly and giving shocks. Toilet seats falling to pieces. So glad we took our own pillows. One to avoid!

The Plaza real is a realy good family complex with staff that cater for all your needs.The children loved it and the pool was clean and well kept along with a small paddling pool for tots and younger children.The mimi disco was a hit for the kids too and we were'nt to far from resturants and the beautiful beaches.Fantastic holiday...
