There is no question that Cinzia whose family owns this property makes every guest feel exceptionally welcome. Originally a 15th century convent and an adjoining home this villa is set in a gorgeous garden with an outstanding swimming pool that must be so relaxing and enjoyable at warmer times. A very nice breakfast with some delicious pastries adds to the enjoyment. The rooms are spacious and clean albeit not the newest in decor.

We spent two nights in this beautiful villa next to the river and just 5 minutes walking away from the small center of the town were you can find good restaurants. Marco and Cinzia are very attentive and friendly and they did their best to make us feel at home. We even got a free upgrade to an enormous, two storey apartment. The continental breakfast offered in the morning is very generous. Unfortunately, we did not have the opportunity of enjoying the swimming pool, which looked very attractive. Next time we come to the Casentino region, we will stay at the Villa La Nussa for sure!

This stunning huge property gave us a wonderfully warm welcome, a huge bedroom in a beautiful 15th century building, and directed us to an amazing pizza restaurant 5 minutes walk away. Such a shame we only needed to stay for one night!!

Cinzia and Marco were great hosts. We stayed in one of their two bed room cottages and it was spacious, clean and more than what we needed for two nights. Cinzia booked a restaurant for us for that evening and gave directions - so did their dogs! This is a great place to stay if you want to have a base and do in and out day trips. She recomended going to several places and was certainly worth doing. Marco even gave us a bottle of local wine made by one of their friends and it was pretty good and a nice gesture. Would highly recommend this place. It is right by a creek and surrounded by persimon trees - would be gorgeous in the summer as they also have a pool.

Great place and amazing hosts. Beautiful typical tuscan villa, tasty breakfast and very welcoming owners. We loved it there! Good location to explore central Tuscany. The only disadvantaged was the entrance to the villa opens to a very busy road..
