Driftwood Village is stunning. For once the Lonely Planet made a good recommendation - it really is a Robinson Crusoe-esque hideaway. We spent 3 nights and left relaxed and happy. This is a great beach for swimming which is pretty rare in this part of the world, although not white so not breathtakingly beautiful. The accommodation was comfortable. The showers were hot. There were hammocks and loungers and other things to play with. What really stands out though is the food. The food was really, really good and reasonably priced.... More

When can we go back? We were looking for a remote place, out of the normal Americal tourists spots and found this jewel on the internet - were not disappointed. Had a wonderful time, the folks were wonderful. Cant wait to get back!
