This was the best stay we had in New Zealand. Very quiet place, wonderful staf, excellent bed, good kitchen. Can't find any negative thnig to mentionabout this place.

The mountain house was a very luxurious base for our day hikes on Mount Taranaki. While the the hotel buildings are old, the rooms are recently refurbished and have very comfortable beds with quality linen. Everything is immaculately clean.
