We have stayed here a number of times, and keep coming back whenever we are in the area. The food is excellent. From a good choice of breakfast, to a large filling evening meal, if you decide to eat in. The staff could not be more helpful. The room was fine. Clean with a comfortable bed, and a good hot... Stayed here due to having a work's night out in Inverurie. I paid £50 for a double room and stayed here with my partner. I wasn't impressed. Although it was just somewhere to put our head down it was dirty. Biscuit papers that had been left on the floor by previous occupants were still there and the floor needed a... More

We recently stayed at the Kintore Arms with family and I have to say we were all disappointed with it. Our room was very small, quite dark which made it claustrophobic, very tired and smelled musty with a dark blue carpet which had seen better days. The bathroom was carpetted and stained and the only shower available was a rubber... More

Tired. Very tired. Poky room, ancient furniture, walls pretty thin, carpets in rooms where there shouldn't be carpets, and a barrack-room bed. Breakfast was fairly shabby too. On the other hand, the staff were perfectly pleasant and the bar was alright. Its not cheap either. Theres better nearby. Try them.

A mixture of residents, tradesmen, golfers, and the odd family were the guests when I had a one night stay at this hotel. More or less in the centre of the town and of a late Victorian structure, with dormer windows. Part of the Oxford Hotel and Inns Group. Bedroom (upgraded to Double foc) was typical of the structure with... More

My colleagues and myself recently spent a week staying in this hotel and were very disappointed. Firstly my single room had a bed with no filling in the mattress in the centre of it. I was then moved to a room which had heating pipes running through it so all night it banged every 8-9 seconds for a time of... More

Stayed here for 3 nights recently. Reception staff friendly. Interior of hotel very tired. needs urgent attention. Carpets and paintwork show signs of apathy regarding appearance. Room very claustrophobic. No wardrobe, bedside cabinets, telephone. Stained bedding. Poor television. Nowhere to store luggage. Very noisy at night, thin walls. Bar closed at 11pm. Was not informed that we would be locked... More

Check-in staff were pleasant enough and welcoming. Unfortunately downhill from there. Room dated and small. Very expensive for what it is. Breakfast was a joke. Never seen such a small sausage without a cocktail stick in it. It wouldn't cost much more to provide a decent breakfast especially considering that they are charging premium prices but providing very low rent... More
