We have just stayed at the Falcon on the Easter bank holiday weekend and I have to say that there has obviously been a major overhaul of the hotel rooms. As the other reviews say, its a bit of a creepy journey upstairs but the rooms have now all been decorated and refurbished with new furniture and are very comfortable... More

arrived and all looked ok , that was while we were outside, once we went in and went up the creepy staircase to our room it became apparent it wasn`t going to get any better, although we were a couple we had a family room. i have to say i wouldn`t allow my kids to stay here. it was on... More

Stayed 2 nights just fishing so put up with it as it was just a bed for a couple of nights but what a total **** hole it is. We had 3 rooms booked with our party and every one of them were filthy, falling apart, very noisy and quite scary. To be honest we were all lads out fishing... More

The only reason for not immediately fleeing the hotel upon entering my room was that I arrived late at night and wanted to sleep. But OMG this hotel is seriously dirty and lacking any decent standards. The carpets are smelly and stained with cigarette burnholes. The curtains have black stains and have not been washed since Margret Thatcher was running... More

Never having been to Shropshire I arranged a trip away to see a friend. The Falcon was recommended by my friend as it has had a recent refurbishment. Turned out this was just the pub area. My room was awful. Smelt musty and so in need of some serious cleaning and redecoration. The dated patterned carpet looked like it had... More

This place is an historic inn right in the centre of Bridgnorth. The bar and eating area has been refurbished but the hotel part leaves a lot to be desired. It needs a serious amount of money spending on it as it really is dilapidated. The bedding and towels in our room were spotless but the decor and furnishings were... More

Rooms probably last refurbished circa 1975. Dreary, shabby and depressing. Inhospitable management who have no concept of customer care, unfriendly, rude 'cleaner', dirty breakfast bowls, putrid smelling corridors. I would be embarrassed if this was my business. Deserves to be shut down as it's a health hazzard.

If anyone out there that attended university in the 1980s has a desire to relive the student accommodation experience then I have found just the place for you. The Falcon Hotel has spared no expense in recreating the student hovel, right down to the wood chip wallpaper, cheap furniture, carpeted bathrooms and avocado bathroom suites. An added bonus (which we... More

we were a bit apprehensive after reading poor reviews but from the minute we got there all our fears disappeared. the parking was sorted in seconds, which is fairly easy to find, the best way is to look for severn street first and you end up behind the falcon.there was 10 of us and we all had our own ensuite room...
