Very well equipted, spotless, cosy, good layout, very comfortable bed and nice bed linen, ideal location for us. The only extra thing that would have been of benifit for us would be a stair gate at the top of the stairs as we have a toddler, (but we did know that there was not one when we booked).

A fantastic cottage! We stayed with 3 adults and two small children and had plenty of space. The children settld in straight away and loved the garden with the hens. the cotttage has everything you need and was spotless. I would definately stay here again!

The kitchen equipment in The Shippon was first rate. A full range was available. Martin Hall proved to be a very good centre for visiting various points of interest on foot. We are recommending this self catering establishment to the friends and relations of our son who lives in Ormskirk, where there are very little accommodation.
