Couldn't have asked for a better visit - the room was great, the location great, the breakfast great and John and Penny made us feel right at home. The family room with 2 small kids was perfect.

This is a great B&B in all respects. The food, hospitality, location, standard of rooms, and views were all not just good but outstanding. I would definitely recommend it. My only negative was that in the family room there were no drawers for clothes and just three hangers in a cupboard which we had to move a chair to open... More

Just stayed yet again and can say its just as good as ever. Set right in the middle of the twin villages the location for your holiday stay is excellent. Both villages are within a quick walk and it's an easy stroll to all the pubs, shops and beaches. If you are unsure where to eat John will give you... More

Not only was the accommodation perfect (the pictures don't do the attention to detail justice). The owners were some of the nicest people we have ever met. The service they provided was above and beyond what would be expected from a B&B. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it was made even better by the faultless hospitality. If you're trying... More

A unique property in a unique location with unique owners. We spent a thoroughly enjoyable two nights with Penny and John and were sad to leave. It is difficult to categorise this property and it's location but it is a set-up which works largely thanks to the delightful hosts who welcome guests into their home to share. We will return... We had the warmest welcome you could expect, and the breakfast was fantastic. For South West Coast Path walkers it's ideal - right on the path and with stunning views over Plymouth Sound - a perfect stop if you don't want to overnight in Plymouth. Our room was the smallest of the three - a bit cramped but wittily decorated... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in August to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary and couldnt have asked for anywhere better. The room was fantastic, so clean and comfy, fantastic view over the village or out to sea and the sound of the waves was wonderful, so relaxing. John and Penny are lovely people who were so welcoming and friendly,... More

We were here for a wedding over the weekend and were lucky enough to get a room in the old school house. With two skylights, a double bed and a spare single bed (great if you have a small one!), the room was supremely comfortable, clean and welcoming. The sound of the waves through the skylight was comforting to fall... More

We've just got back form 2 nights in Cawsand for a nearby wedding and were lucky enough to be staying in the Master Bedroom at the Old School House - which initially looks like a 'nice cosy home' but soon reveals itself to be much more. The master bedroom has a 4 poster bed, boutique-y ensuite with shower that's just... More
