Lovely location by the river and perfect on a sunny day. Lunch menu is basic but all very pleasant. Unfortunately the staff were not very helpful and rather slow. Lovely grounds and outdoor seating, rooms nice but nothing special.

Attended a friends wedding reception. Reception was wonderful although my friends had quite a few problems throughout the booking process for the wedding. The accommodation was really good and we had a lovely stay.

The location of this hotel right next to the old toll-bridge in St.Ives is quite simply superb. Very picturesque with lots of outdoor seating space for taking in the historic views. Just stayed for a weekend. Given room 30 on arrival. Bathroom was dreadful. It needs a very deep clean and/or refurbishment. When we complained we were moved to room 22. What a difference.
