Not good really. Bedroom had cobwebs almost everywhere. The bathroom was disgusting, paint, mess, cobwebs everywhere. Double bed looked clean however. Bar is OK, quite small. Oliver’s lodge must of been awarded it AA 3* I’m guessing about 15 years ago!! Over priced and in serious need of refurbishment, the best thing about my over night experience was the departure.

We liked this place as the service was excellent however our room, although large and quiet, was not as high spec as we would normally expect for the price. However the car parking was very good, which is important for us and the food on the Indian menu was superb.

We travelled to St. Ives on motorbikes and the duty manager, realising this, and completely unprompted, offered us a change of room to a ground floor room accessed directly off the rear car park so we could "keep an eye" on our bikes !
