This is a lovely hotel in a great position overlooking the estuary. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and our room was spacious and clean with a large comfortably furnished balcony. The bar was very reasonably priced with a good selection of bar meals, the Restaurant however we did find rather over priced.

Stayed at this hotel for one night only and didnt eat here so can only comment on the accommodation. Room was lovely with a great view of the bridge which links Spain to Portugal and the river between them. Hotel in general a bit tired though I thought but not enough to put me off coming again

I have stayed at Paradores all over Spain and generally found them to be acceptable. Some better than others; they fall down at times on the service compared to the hotel chains but I have been told by several of their employees ' because once employed in the parador organization you can't get sacked!'.
