This hotel is absolutely fantastic. We loved here everything, even our search of the hotel for 3 hours worth it! We spent a week traveling allover Lazio and Toscana and fell in love only with Torre Palombara. It has special family atmosphere. Leonardo is very hospitable owner and good person. We’ve booked two-storeyed room with terrace and romantic view for... More

If you should feel a little bit wary reading all those rave reviews, you needn´t be. Staying in Torre Palombara really is a wonderful experience. For one thing, the surrounding countryside and vistas are truly wonderful, and the place itself has been lovingly reconstructed by Leonardo and his family. We had fantastic time and Leonardo provided every kind of advice... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in early May and agree wholeheartedly with all the previous rave reviews. For some of the time we were the only guests which meant we had the undivided attention of Leonardo and nothing was too much trouble. The spread on the breakfast buffet was sumptuous. The only problem for a light sleeper is the... More

This is going to be difficult to write without sounding hysterical, but this has been the most pleasant stay I've ever experienced. The property itself is family-owned and run. It has been authentically renovated, but doesn't feel stilted; it's cosy and welcoming. Our room was a superior room; it was hard to leave. When we were there, the weather was... More

The one thing we knew we had to do after coming from our Italian vacation is to write something about Torre Palombara where we stayed and used as base while visiting the Umbrian region. Our whole family is still reminiscing about its breathtaking views, comfortable suites, beautiful landscaping and magnificent pool. It is perfectly situated on a hilltop surrounded by... More

We stayed at Torre Palombara for a few nights at the end of our holiday in Italy before returning home and really wished we could have stayed much longer. Its a beautiful historic building, surrounded by wonderful gardens and a pool. The owner / manager was incredibly welcoming and helpful, recommending and booking local restaurants for us that we never... More

My husband and I stayed for three beautiful relaxing days at Torre Palombara in June. It is such an idyllic setting offering the most immaculate and tasteful accommodation. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed gazing at the distant views while bathing in the magnificently located pool. Leonardo was an incredibly helpful host, offering us travel advice and maps in... We have just returned from an idyllic week at the Torre Palombara. What a beautiful place. I can only reiterate everything that has been said previously about the hotel and it's owners. Leonardo could not have been more helpful, guiding us through our holiday with advice to make our time in Umbria truly special. I would also bring to your... More

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in June on the first leg of our honeymoon. Having stayed in some of the best hotels in the world, I could not have wished for a warmer welcome in a more beautiful location. This place is seriously special. When I think of amazing hotels, I usually think of luxurious places... More
