Firstly- hard to find, and on tiny, winding roads. It's not in the town of Rogello, but Donini, which is a ways from Rogello. Look up the location before heading there. Beware on the roads! The room and view were incredible. The bed was unimpressively hard. No internet in the rooms. Breakfast gets repetitive, but decent in quality. Supper is... More

I stayed here for one night for a business trip. The building and common areas and beautiful and well-kept. The views from the terrace are to die for- you know you're in Italy- just divine! Dinner and lunch are great but breakfast choice is rather limited. My room was disappointing- very large with a mezzanine floor but rather drab, old... More

Vast mansion with it's own little history. Room's are comfortable and they are balanced in terms of history and modern rooms. Friendly and good service. You should certainly visit this hotel in April but before 25th since its a national holiday in Italy. It's very quiet and peaceful. The garden of the hotel is huge and beautiful. You can hear... My family and I stayed at Villa Pitiana recently, and we absolutely loved it. It was easy to find, great places to eat locally and a simple train ride to Florence for day trips. The people that run the hotel were exceptionally friendly. Sitting outside, drinking a coffee or a beer and enjoying the peace and quiet was a little... More

We spent 5 days in a Jr. Suite at Villa Pitiana in mid October 2012. This place was absolutely amazing - the view out of our second floor room was incredible. Room was very large with an updated bathroom. People at the front desk were very welcoming and helpful - and spoke very good english. We had dinner at the... More

Really enjoyed ouyr stay at the Villa Pitiana. Although only a 3 star - it gave excellent service, food - and the views are amazing. The Villa was built around 1039 - so the ambience is terrific. Really enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I just finished our first trip to Italy and the Villa Pitiana was one of seven hotels we stayed at. We booked the hotel on hotels.com which listed the hotel in a different town. Once we realized the mistake, it was an awful property to try to find at night. The woman at the desk was trying... More

We are sorry to hear about the problems in finding our property and we can easily imagine that having had troubles in finding us and spending only one night in our premises you were not in the right mood to show a real appreciation for a place which is, no doubt, not fake but real antique! However, we should make... More

My wife and I and another couple decided to complete our 2 week vacation in Italy with 4 days in Tuscanny. We picked Villa Pitana becuse it offered a cooking class and wine tasting on site.
