We received a very warm welcome from the Schwartz family. The rooms were beautifully decorated, whilst being warm and comfortable. (we arrived on a cold day!) We enjoyed an excellent dinner of local lamb, and enjoyed walking around the beautifully kept gardens. The views were stunning. We would wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful hotel.

17th century Wittelsbach (Bavarian royal family) hunting lodge in beautiful, non-touristed Altmuhl Valley (Danube and Altmuhl rivers between Nuremberg and Regensburg, Bavarian Franconia.
