This is a lovely family campsite. The pitches are large and private with hedges dividing the pitches, but this also gives the mosquitos somewhere shady to hide. Got bit a couple times but nothing really, just used repellant and plug in electric units in tent, seem to do the trick. The pool area is lovely for young kids, large play... More

Yes its a big pool (NOT) the brochures are very good in bigging up a facility. Its full of Dutch who queue from 08.00 to bag the best seats, been to some better sites, no where near sea and avoid like plague in summer as a road trip to Isle de Oleron can take up to two hours due to sheer... More

Spend 2 weeks here in the new mobile homes in the summer of 2011 with family (three young kids). The best bits: 1. Very well run park - the owner was out a night personally controlling curfew - very safe 2. Very clean park - following on from 1. (including our mobile) - all spotless 3. Good variety of facilities... More

We went with Canvas-their caravans are pretty dated compared to Thompson Al Fresco and they only had one courier who appeared overworked, and in fact left her post, due, she said, to poor working conditions - the site is very pretty, excellent pool complex, although it can get extremely busy with space at a premium- the mosquitoes at night generally... My Wife and I originally stayed at Sequoia Parc in August 2000. At that time we stayed in a Static Caravan and the site only had two pools. We had a great time and planned to revisit when we had children. So we took our 7 and 5 year old boys this year. I am always a firm believer that... More

We transfered to Sequoia from Sol a Go Go. The campsite is absolutely beautiful. The pitches are huge and very private. There is a gorgeous chateau and the evening entertainment is held in the old courtyard. The gardens are well maintained and full of flowers. They have stables, and pony lessons are available. A lake enclosure with goats, chickens, ducks,swans... More

We stayed for 8 night with or oun tent booked through Eurocamp independant. The pitch was huge and not too far from the toilet blocks, always a bonus ! Our 3 kids made friends easily with a dutch family and communicated through sign language. The pool looks better from the web site than reality as the lazy river is to... More

This is a nice campsite in a very interesting part of France. My wife and two children (8 and 10) stayed for two weeks. We stayed with Campotel.com (Kelair). None of their accomodation had air conditioning which is a limitation if you do not like living and sleeping in excessive heat. We had ample warning from other reviewers about mosquitoes... More
