Stayed for 2 days in May. The proprty is beautiful and we saw plenty of birds. Rooms are huge and clean. Staff welcomed us by name when we arrived, and the amenities were perfect. Dinner was good and the bar was always available for us. We had a wonderful time in Santa Elena and this hotel helped make it special.

I loved it here we saw lots of hummingbirds, attempted the canopy tour but lightening stopped play. Breakfast was good, lunch and dinner weren't to our groups taste but the cocktails after our extreme Tarzan swing really hit the spot. There aren't a lot of "bells and whistles" here, but it's a great place to stay if you're focused on all the outdoor activities that are available in the area. Great Hotel in a beautiful setting. There are some really nice trails and an amazing zip line canopy tour right on the property. Monteverde Cloud Forest Preserve is only a few kilometers away. We were lucky enough to see Quetzals on our hike. Advice: Use a guide to help you spot some of the birds and other wildlife.

Stayed at this hotel for two nights only whilst on a family holiday in CR. Great for birdwatching and walking. Clean rooms and good restaurant.
