We stayed for 2 nights for a birthday treat. The location was superb. The room (19 - The four poster) was great with a fabulous view up the river. The staff were helpful and attentive. This was a quiet location and a perfect combination for a relaxing break. Would certainly recommend giving it a try

We stayed for two nights at the Royal Lodge and found the staff and atmosphere second to none. Nothing was too much trouble, rooms clean and comfortable, breakfasts deserve a 5star rating. The only disappointment was evening dinner, which left room for improvement. I would definitely visit again.

Me and my friend went on a 2 night break to The Royal Lodge Hotel and it was wonderful. The staff were friendly and the food lovely.The hotel is situated in a beautiful position overlooking the river and was serile. Definatley going back again.

Very efficient, helpful and friendly staff. Nice room (18) with very compact en-suite. Overlooking garden and beautiful river views. Evening food very reasonable and well presented. Would definitely go again but would imagine that Symonds Yat is overwhelmed at peak times.
