The Parador de Ferrol is officially rated a 3 star property (most other Paradors are 4 or 5). If you adjust your expectations accordingly (and dependant upon the price you pay for your room) there is every liklihood that you will receive reasonable value for money. “Nice spot in Ferrol”

We had a lovely room overlooking the port. Since it was a Sunday, very few restaurants or shops were open in the evening, but the parador is very close to markets and restaurants. It was a nice stop in a pretty town. It would be nice if they included even a simple continental breakfast for the price.

The hotel was excellent value. Even though they had a lot of rooms the service was very personal. A good restaraunt and Pub. Good views across the bay and lots of open areas around the hotel. Conveintently loacted for the shops and pubs.
