As long time visitors to Italy (family) we found the Borgo di Fontebussi beautiful to stay at. The cuisine is excellent, the Chianti villages are all close by and Siena is less than an hour away (by car). It's isolation is desirable and the quietness of the complex (September) was great. Definitelty a keeper and we recommend it whole heartedly.

Borgo di Fontebussi is perched high in the hills of Tuscany, overlooking vinyards and olive groves and small villages. The panoramic view is absolutely breathtaking. the location was absolutely beautiful. the rooms were lovely. water pressure was not very good, but overall the rooms were very clean and polished. Just a lovely retreat. can't wait to go back.

Fontebussi is in a beautiful location. The rooms are fairly small but the bathroom is nice. Airconditioning doesn't seem to work all that well. YOu have to pay extra for wi fi which is kind of a rip.
