This is a hotel done on the cheap; paper thin towels,very minimal heating during chilly weather, sparse breakfasts, and the most serious problem of all, metal gratings bolted to the exterior walls which cover the windows,making the hotel unsafe in case of fire. We needed somewhere to stay for 1 night en route from Umbria to the south coast and this hotel seemed a safe, if unexciting, bet. Main problem was that it was very hot and the room air con was completely ineffectual. Completely. Rear of hotel overlooked a building site, in fact whole of area was similar.
