The moment you pass through the entrance gate of Il Frantoio you will find a litte piece of heaven on earth ! It's a place with a soul , the little church , the romantic relax patio , the flowers and especially the helpfull , kindly staff. Our room was charming , so inviting for a siesta. The estate with century... More

My wife and I arrived at Il Frantoio for our 3-night stay after a 5 hour drive from Abruzzo. This was our first trip to Puglia and we wanted to ease into our 10-day stay in the region with a little relaxation. Upon arrival, we were given a genuinely warm welcome by all of the staff on hand (Nunzia, Silvana... More

We booked Il Frantoio as part of a week long honeymoon in Puglia and were incredibly excited to stay there based on all the reviews on Tripadvisor. However, I can simply say this was the great disappointment of the trip. We originally booked the standard double room for approximately EUR 150 and were shown a small, dark room off the... More

And it is called Il Frantoio. Why? Caring staff, great food, clean and tastefully decorated rooms, just everything you could wish for. The owners, Armando and Rosalba have done a great job on the property and given thought to every detail, but in a way that you don’t feel you are walking around in a picture postcard. It is a... We travelled to Puglia in December and stayed 3 nights at Il Frantoio. In retrospect we would have stayed here for 5 nights. It is ideally located to visit many of the wonderful small towns in the region. The property is an old farmhouse with rooms that feature mod cons (good heating, nespresso machine, good beds and linens) yet it... More

We visited the Masseria in November and the staff (Sylvana and Lucia) were very welcoming and helpful. The grounds are so beautiful, with acres of ancient olive trees, fruit trees and more. The food is amazing! All organic and grown on the property. The dining room is charming and elegant and we loved seeing our place card at the table... More

What's great about Il Frantoio? The charming staff, the breakfasts and dinners (the enormous 10 course dinners or the smaller suppers, check which is happening that night) and the romantic candlelit courtyard. The owner and host Armando, and his wife and her staff are all welcoming, courteous and helpful. Their own olive oil is for sale with many other products... More

Thank you for choosing one more time "Il Frantoio" and also recommended to your nephew. We really appreciate this demonstration of respect. We are happy that personal welcome, even by the owners, breakfasts and dinners are in your opinion not to be missed and unforgettable. We agree with your judgment of bedrooms and bathrooms based on the experience dating back... More

This was our second stay at Il Frantoio and it was everything we remembered and more. Silvana, Lucia and the ladies who cook were all wonderful to us and spoilt us rotten. We were in Gelsomino apartment in the main courtyrd with our very own kitchen and open fire. Great coffee maker too! We had a lovely bedroom with stylish... More

I can only echo all the other reviews. Armando is a great guy and extremely knowledgeable. Sylvana is a gem. There was only one other couple staying at the Masseria with us but they didn't skimp on the amenities. Fires were set in the fireplaces and the breakfast spread was lavish.

Beautiful place within 2600 upto 1000 year old olive trees (if I remember well the number). Place of harmony and peace. The staff was excellent in helping us around. The breakfast was the best we had in Italy. The dinner was full of good surprises .... we loved the place.
