I visited Paros with some friends earlier this month. I had been longing to go to Paros for years now and I regret not having done so earlier. The island is really beautiful, as most of the Greek islands. We stayed in Pyrgaki and I must admit that at first I was a bit worried over some reviews I read....

I have been to Paros a lot of times before and this was my first time in Pyrgaki Hotel. I stayed there for a whole week from 15 to 22 September with my boyfriend. First, there is a big difference among hotels in Paros in how the stuff conduct to gay people. In some of them and particular in this...

Not sure why all the reviews here are negative for Pyrgaki - we stayed in mid September 2010 and found it to be lovely for the price that we paid.
There are not a lot of rooms, meaning there arent a million people around all the time, but the place was almost full when we stayed.
The rooms have lovely...

Paros was the third island that we visited and all our accomodation was booked through a greek travel agent. We were booked in to the Alkyon hotel originally but upon arrival were told that the hotel was full and we would be transferred to their sister hotel Pyrgaki as an upgrade! The hotel looked nice enough but the owners were...

Can't rate experience with hotel; we booked a room for early October, got confirmation number and when we got there the Hotel was CLOSED down for the season. Cab driver tried to contact owner, no answer. Luckily he found us a nice place. PS: cab fare was only 5 Euros from the port. Not per person.
