You know what you get when you book chain hotels: clean and comfortable rooms. Unfortunately the hotel is tucked away in the industrial district in the very eastern part of Berlin, so its quite a walk to get to the S-Bahn Station and a lengthy train ride into central Berlin - if that's where you want to go.

The hotel is quite far from Berlin. Going to the city around 25 minutes by car. Reception closed at 10.00 pm, after 10.00 pm we must enter the booking code at the machine in front the door. Good location, close to the Berliner Ring, I don't like when service room tries to clean a room at 8.00 when I still sleep ;-) They knock for a while and enter the room being surprised when seeing me.

I selected the Etap Hotel because of price since Berlin is expensive. This hotel has no lift, so I had to get a room on the ground floor as I am disabled, although ambulatory.
