In a small village, on pretty grounds, a country chateau. The public rooms are elegant, the bedroom was spartan, but adequate. The restaurant was excellent - good local cuisine. Staff were very nice but had virtually no English. Guests in early September were mostly French , with a sprinkling of Brits and Germans.
