We needed a stopover on our way from the UK to Scandinavia, and this little hotel filled all our needs. It is located close to a large beach with lots of restaurants and bars where we could get an evening snack, as we were arriving late. The hotel has a cosy bar and the breakfast was very nice. It also... More

Room was in desperate need of repair and update. Paper was shoddy and coming off the wall, curtains and bedding so old, this room cost us nearly 100 Euro as was also charged for the car park another extra 7 euro 50. Room cost was 85 euro and actual final payment for 92.50 what a ripoff. Sorry ! The breakfast... More

Stayed here for one night en route to Germany: it's an easy journey from Dunkerque ferry. Our room was clean, if a bit worn in places but the bathroom was tiny. Cold water tap didn't work, but shower was very good. No hairdryer. Restaurant was closed on the day we were there but plenty of choice within 5 minute walk.... More

If you are looking for a centrally located reasonable hotel and your expectations are not too high this is the place for you, it is clean and the breakfast was very good masses of choice all good quality food. The staff were polite and helpful. The outside of the hotel is classic 1920's. (They need to get rid of that... More

Stayed for one night over a weekend in February which we all thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel has a lovely continental feel to it and the rooms are clean and very good. We had the family room which for three people worked out under £30 each which is wonderful value! Would highly recommend this hotel and and we all love De... More

We have stayed at this unique hotel several times and we can't recommend highly enough. We have always found it excellent and anyone who is well travelled will recognise how much this place represents value for money. The rooms have always been clean and comfortable, with a large bathroom and complimentary bottled water is available. It's also refreshing to have... More

This is a small, and very basic hotel in a good location with the bonus of excellent car parking and a surprisingly good continental breakfast. Our room was small and a bit tatty - cracked wash-basin, frayed carpet etc. but everything worked.

Good location - Rooms clean & tidy. Decor very dated, disappointed that smoking was allowed in bar area made all ground floor no go area for us (even smelt it in our room). Walls were paper thin so up most of the night with the sounds of the trams and guest in room next door snoring

Over the last four years I think that we have stayed in this hotel nine times. Every time that we arrive we are met with a warm smile and a few kind words from the owners. This Hotel is always clean warm and the breakfast is enough to set you up for the whole day. All of the rooms are... More
