Samed Resort is very small, privately owned place. Maintenance of or room during your stay is minimal, no cleaning. Very disappointing bathroom, with a manual flashing toilet and awkwardly arranged shower, wet room actually. The bed is super hard, like no other bed I've seen. Plus the bedding is only a very old sheet over the mattress and some light... More

We came to this place based on the great reviews posted here. However, it has to be made clear that this place is for a certain clientele. Although this place claims to be an idyllic gem, in reality its a dirty hole. As you would expect there are bugs, frogs and lizards, although one would not expect maggots smashed into... More

We stayed in Samed Resort for the last three nights we spent in Thailand. We could hardly have made a better choice! The rooms, service an food are fantastic. I am sort of a foodie and we enjoyed Tims recommendations for dinner, which were always fantastic and some of the best Thai food we had during our travel. Tim was... More

My wife and I didnt get to stay here however we did manage to call in several times in the evening for a few drinks. A very laid back cruisy place beside the beach. Perfect for a drink while watching the sun go down. Friendly staff and good food. Recommend.

Samet resort is an ideal resort to stay if you're looking for a place to take a real break from reality and settle into the original feel that Thailand use to offer to travellers before tourism took over the islands. Set on the other side of the island, Samet resort offers, the best Thai cuizine on the island, a range... More

This resort is located on the northern part of Koh Samed Island, at a 30 minutes walking distance from the main beach (situated on the west coast). It is therefore ideal if you want to escape the noise and have some peace at night. The bungalows are very basic but clean. We had one bungalow with fan and cold shower... More

Do not expected much. You have for your money but no more. I feel unsafe as the window of the washroom could not close well. Bed a bit hard but of course you don't come here to spend hours in bed while the beach is near. If you have a bit more budget, you can consider a better one but... More

We stayed at Samed Resort for three nights. We spent the first night in another resort down the road, but found it to be high quality, but expensive, had a closed-off beach and they kept playing cheesy cover music in the resor seaside. It wasn't bad, but not great. We switched to Samed resort which is a family-run small business... More
