The bungalow was large enough but old and pooly maintanced. The air conditioner was noisy and the toilet leaked all night (drip, drip, drip) however the dripping was almost inaudible due to the sound of bass coming from the beach. One of the better locations at Koh Samet on the northern end of the beach away from the busy beach areas further south. Excellent dining with tables and chairs under the trees on the sand right of the beach. Great evening BBQ selections. Excellent swimming. We stayed in a fan room in Nov 2011 for 500bht/night and can't complain about the room. It had a hot shower and even a TV, but some of the staff, especially Jep himself, were terrible.
