If your expectations are for quiet and being up the village way then this is a good choice. Its the modern Thai micro-resort, ten glass bungalows set close with a mini pool and an open air restaurant with no pretensions to anything except a rest before heading to the park. Plenty of guesthouses and resorts around the national park offer to pick guests up from Pak Chong for free. Exceptionally disappointed with this place. Almost went with Khao Yai Garden Lodge and really wish I did as they are obviously much more organized and oriented to people who actually want to see beautiful Khao Yai park and not just sit on sun loungers all day. Just stayed at the resort for 2 nights after a long weekend so practically have the whole resort for my family. My children enjoyed the pool and also playing with puppies from the neighbour.
