Staid here with work for 1 night. Very hapy with room but it al went downhil wen I went to bar for drink and diner. Waitres was shoking . They close the bar at 10.45 sharp witch was rubbish as wanted to drink til I dropped. The bandit was robbing

Really a great and hearty breakfast. We tried the Indian food for dinner and that was exceptional.. even better than you get in London. Would have given it 5/5 but wifi did not work in the room, you had to go outside of the room for it to work.

We stayed at the Haughton as part of a trip with my husband's elderly father who wanted to return to his birthplace of Alford.
