I've been here several times and this was a better visit than most. The hotel is located right in the centre of Holmfirth and is ideally situated for all the local night life. Food is ok but certainly not outstanding, waiter service is good but bar service less so.

Pub/hotel which was very busy. Food very basic pub food, nothing special. Same goes for the hotel rooms unless you pay the little bit extra for the exec room wich is huge and worth it's money.

We ate at the old bridge on saturday, this was our first but will not be our last, the food was good and it had a wide choice of beers, the best I have seen in a bit, our waiter sam was excellent and he really made us feel special, this place is well worth recommending
